- step forward head punch (x3)
- (receive counter)
- step back into left stance
Defence: left stance
- step back (x2)
- (on third step) take half step back & twist outer palm block & rising punch (chin)
- slide in (left) elbow strike (KIAI)
- step back into left stance

Jodan Uke - Nihonme
Attack: Left - Defence: Right

Attack: left stance
- step forward head punch (x3)
- (receive counter)
- step back into left stance
Defence: right stance
- step back (x2)
- (on third step) take half step sideways and back & (hybrid) rising block/roundhouse punch (head)
- grab shoulders & knee strike (KIAI)
- step back into left stance

- (on third step) pivot on back foot & twisting snap punch (head)
- adjust (feet) position & roundhouse kick (body) (KIAI)
