HD1 Dance Studio - Polite reminder

Can I please remind everyone of the following - and to pass on to all customers:

 

* masks must be worn in communal areas by all adults (right from the door from the car park)

* if parents are entering the building they must social distance at all times

* hands must be sanitized on entry

* the class number limits per studio must be adhered to and the squares on the floor used to ensure social distancing

*doors/windows left open for ventilation

Student Advice


The following points are to be adhered to when training


You will have your temperature taken before entering the Dojo, if it is over 38oC you will be sent home. Temperatures must be taken and anybody found to have a high temperature should not be allowed to train. Anyone who displays COVID-19 symptoms should leave and arrange for testing.

Barnsley
Thursdays class 6:00-7:00 (Children & Adults)

Saturdays class 5:15-6:15 (Children)
Saturdays class 6:15-7:15 (Adults)

All students to bring:
Be pre dressed In full Gi (Uniform)
Indoor/training shoes
Towel
Bottle of water/ still fruit juice (no fizzy drinks)
Mask/Face Covering

No Parents/Spectators allowed inside building at all:
Drop children at entrance.
Pick up outside entrance
.

Use Sanitiser at entrance to building and wash hands (top floor toilets) before entering dojo

Wash hands and use sanitiser when exiting dojo / building

training in large dojo on top floor, all bags to be neatly left at dojo entrance

social distancing to be observed at all times

outside shoes will be removed at dojo entrance and replaced with indoor/training shoes

soles of indoor/training shoes sanitised by Master Middleton before entering dojo


If drinks are required you should bring your own.

All area's other than the toilets and training hall are out of bounds. If you use the toilets you should wipe down anything you touch. equipment will be provided.


All student to come pre dressed in Gi (Uniform) as Changing rooms should not be used, except for people with disabilities and those with special needs.


When waiting to enter or leaving the dojo, social distancing of 2 metres should be maintained.

Classes must not include any contact training whatsoever including those from the same ‘bubble’.

There should be no kiai. Forcefully driving air from the body (as in shouting) increases the risk of droplets being spread and would require greater social distance needed between members as well as potentially infecting surfaces around the members.

Touching any part of the face should be discouraged while regular handwashing and/or hand sanisitisation should be strongly encouraged.

All clothing Should be washed Between Sessions.

Equipment should not be used. When using any equipment, ensure that it is sanitised both coming out and going back into the store room. With the sanitizer supplied.

When training inside the Dojo ALL doors to be open to enable a flow of fresh air.

At all times when instructing. Instructors to Wear a Face Covering.

In this context, Instructors need to be mindful of their calls/commands and should seek to increase the distance between themselves and the assembled class.
